ABS Bayblend (Acrylonile Butadiene Styrene)
ABS this material is widely used in engireering products in the production of items such as automotive components and electirical equipment.
ABS can be acrylic capped this produces an improved surface finish for items such as caravan body panels and car spoilers.
ABS is sometimes listed as “ABS FR” which mean fire retardant. Uses for ABS FR are computer and TV shells.
ABS itself is a very recyclable material however when the FR component has been added this severely limits the reusability of the material.
